“The hotels, restaurants, the resort of course and you have the indirect impact, which means the goods in the area and the induced impact which means the employees at the golf resort, restaurants, hotels and their spending,” explained Dr. Bing Pan, assistant professor in the department of Hospitality & Tourism Management at the College of Charleston.
According to College of Charleston study, all of that spending should add up to at least $83 million, and that number doesn’t even include spending from the players
