To complete the Honors First-Year Experience, students complete HONS 100 Beyond George Street and the one year Honors Engaged service-learning project embodied in HONS 103A and HONS 103B.
All Honors students must take HONS 100 and HONS 103A during their first semester in the Honors College, then HONS 103B Honors Engaged in their second semester.

This course is the second half of the Honors College’s year-long service requirement. It is offered to first-year and transfer students to provide a dynamic, interdisciplinary introduction to the life of a scholar citizen. Students work with a partner from a broad coalition of academic and community leaders as part of the Honors Engaged community engagement project.
