The Info Session: Wednesday, January 25 at 4:00 p.m. in RSS 104.

The Trip: Travel to London June 12-July 15 and take History of British Psychology taught by CofC professor and Honors Faculty Fellow Dr. Chad Galuska.

Honors Immersed Option: Summer Study Abroad Program in London for PSYC Students

Get psyched in London! Explore historical and current contributions of British psychologists with a summer study abroad program.

The Opportunity: Travel to London June 12-July 15 and take History of British Psychology taught by CofC professor and Honors Faculty Fellow Dr. Chad Galuska.

Benefits: Dive into an advanced exploration of domain areas of psychology through a British lens.

  • Professor Galuska has made the course available to fulfill the Honors Immersed requirement
  • The course will also transfer back to CofC as two upper-level Psychology classes: PSYC 3MM and PSYC 410 (Special Topics II)

Study Abroad Opportunities for All!

The Center for International Education is hosting ‘Study Abroad Opportunities for All!

This event will explore how studying abroad fits into students’ PACE Navigator.

Study Abroad for All will take place on Thursday, October 27th in Arnold Hall in the Jewish Studies Center

Students in HONS 100 can receive extra credit for attending this event.

Study Abroad in Egypt Spring 2023

The American University in Cairo is currently offering up to $7,000 for students studying abroad in Spring 2023

Courses are in English, and all programs are available, including a prestigious School of Engineering. The funding is open as long as there is an interest in Arabic while enrolled in the program.

The deadline for this program is September 23, 2022. Please see the attached flyer or contact the Center for International Education for more information.

Interested in Studying Abroad? Check out the Study Abroad Fair!

The Center for International Education is hosting a study abroad fair for students to learn more about upcoming CofC-Sponsored and Exchange programs!

The fair will feature all sorts of study abroad options, including programs that can count towards Honors requirements!

When/Where: The Study Abroad Fair will take place from 10am to 1pm on September 7th & 10am to 1pm on September 14th in Cougar Mall.

Still need an Honors Advanced Studies course? Looking for an Honors Immersed project? Missed out on study abroad last year? Travel to Portugal this June with the Honors College!

  • Advanced Studies (HONS 390: Evidence-Based Medicine in Lisbon with Dr. Pfile) will count towards the Advanced Studies or Honors Elective credit
  • Add an Honors Immersed project (Assessing Parks and Green Space in Lisbon with Dr. Hughey) for no additional tuition cost
