W.N. Looper Award supports summer internships on Capitol Hill

The W.N. Looper Award provides financial support for students majoring within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences to complete a summer internship with the United States Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

The Award: $4,000 will be awarded to support the recipient’s living expenses during their time in Washington, D.C. The recipient will be selected based on the established criteria and responses to the essay questions describing the impact this opportunity would have in reaching their educational and career goals.

Great Fit For: A freshman, sophomore, or junior majoring within the Humanities and Social Sciences and looking to gain experience working in politics.

How to Participate: Apply online through the Career Center by October 15.
