The Charleston Area Service Collaborative is comprised of 20 non-profits all dedicated to fighting poverty and providing opportunities for their clients. Americorps has opportunities in the areas of Health, Economic Opportunity, and Education. For all positions, Americorps is seeking motivated individuals who are ready to serve.

All sites provide an excellent professional development opportunity, and we look forward to finding the right fit for you! Sites are focused on mentoring, financial empowerment, criminal justice, racial equality, pediatric cancer, health initiatives, and more.

Through activities such as fundraising, grant writing, research, and volunteer recruitment, VISTA members will gain professional experience and leadership skills and receive a modest stipend for their work. Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible – although most positions require a bachelor’s degree or some college!
