Setting Minority Students Up for Success: An AALANA Event

The College of Charleston Office of University Communications will host a panel discussion with AALANA (African American, Latinx, Asian and Native American) alumni to share their achievements and challenges and reflect on how being a person of color shaped their time at CofC and prepared them for a successful career after college.

Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in Stern Ballroom

Renard Harris, chief diversity officer at the College of Charleston, will moderate the panel, which includes:

  • Dr. Natalie Gamble Johnson DHA ’99, Associate Dean for Diversity Affairs for the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina
  • Miwako “Mimi” Striplin ’14, Owner of The Tiny Tassel, Charleston, S.C.
  • Joshua K. Hall ’14 – Director of Programs for Saga Education, Charleston, S.C.
