Women’s Lacrosse Boasts 6 Academic All-American Players

The College of Charleston women’s lacrosse club placed 6 members on the prestigious roll of Academic All Americans in the Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates Division 2.  Complete listing of the WCLA 2017 Division II All Academic award winners.

The College is one of 16 teams of the 146 teams that compete in the WCLA D2 to receive this distinction.  Of the roughly 3000 players that comprise the D2 only 46 garnered the award.

Qualifications include a student GPA of at least 3.70 and a significant level of participation, which is generally accepted as a majority attendance at games and practices.
