Crosslisted Grad / Undergrad Classes
A grade column can only be attached to one grade scheme which is problematic when you have asked to crosslist an Undergrad and a Grad class, as they use two different grade schemes.

Errors and Their Meanings

It’s possible that you may receive an error when submitting grades to Banner from OAKS.  The knowledge-base article below will help you figure out what the error mean and what may be causing them.

IMPORTANT, you can always go into My Charleston and submit the errored grades into Banner as you have in the past.

How to find errors for past grade submissions

Changing a grade and resubmitting

As long as the Registrar’s grading window is still open you can change and resubmit a grade.

  1. In your OAKS class, click on Grades > Grades.
  2. Click on Enter Grades.
  3. Click on Submit to Banner-Beta Users Only button.
  4. If you changed the grade within the grade book then your Current Final Grade column should show the corrected grade.  If not, type in the correct grade in the Override Grade field.
    Note: if you use the Override Grade field please communicate with the student as to why their OAKS grade book shows a different grade than their midterm or final grade in Banner.
  5. Check the box in front of the students’ names who experienced a change.
  6. Click Export.
