Hospitality alum, Schottland Scholar launches new digital series on SCETV

South Carolina ETV (SCETV) introduces “Now We’re Cookin’ with Chef Lauren Furey,” a show celebrating local makers and creators in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. Lauren Furey, a hospitality and tourism alumna and former Schottland Scholar, prepares dishes using local ingredients, focusing on coastal southern and Italian cuisines. The show airs new episodes every Tuesday on SCETV’s website, YouTube, Facebook, PBS website, and apps. Chef Furey aims to create intimate, fun, and customized culinary experiences.
