Ingrid Schneider Graduates from Charleston Chamber’s Minority Board of Directors Training

A big congratulations to Ingrid Schneider, program coordinator for the departments of Economics and Finance, on completing the Spring 2024 Minority Board of Directors Training hosted by the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce!

Minority Board of Directors Training focuses on developing a greater understanding of what it means to be a minority board member, the importance of team building, insights into the legal accountability and financial management aspects of a board, and the core competencies of being an impactful leader. During the four session program, participants have the opportunity to learn from experienced leaders who share insights into the opportunities and challenges that come along with board leadership, along with perspective on how bringing a diverse point of view can aid in developing new thoughts and practices within an organization.
