After graduating with my Master of Arts in English in 2010, I worked as a visiting lecturer of English at Charleston Southern University, where I taught Rhetoric and Composition courses. Upon acceptance to the doctoral program in English literature at the University of New Hampshire, Durham, I worked as a graduate assistant there, teaching a range of courses: from the Anglo-Saxons to contemporary American literature. Having advanced to PhD candidacy, I currently live in New York City, where at the Lincoln Center Film and Tape Archive I research counter-cultural adaptations of Renaissance drama for my dissertation on that subject. In my spare time, I write plays and perform with the Triangle Theatre and at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Manhattan.
