Honors Student Leadership

The Honors College offers many opportunities to develop professional leadership skills while contributing meaningfully to all we do on campus and in the wider Charleston community. From social media interns and HUB managers to Peer Facilitators and office interns, a number of positions are available each year. Please consider joining the Honors team! All positions will be advertised on the HUB, and in some cases via email, as they become available.

Students who exhibit a commitment to the the CofC Honors community, which could be demonstrated through many of the positions listed below, may be strong candidates for the Jill Conway Award. This award was established by its namesake and supported by CofC Honors alumni, faculty, staff, and friends that wanted to pay tribute to Jill’s impact on the Honors College. Jill Conway was an employee of the College of Charleston from 1984 until her retirement in 2017 and an integral part of the development of the Honors College’s Living-Learning Community. Thanks to Jill’s efforts, the Honors College experience extends beyond the classroom. The award is intended to recognize a current CofC Honors student that demonstrates engagement, personal growth, curiosity to explore new interests, and who are motivated to enhance their classroom experience.
