The John N. Gardner Institute for Excellence in Higher Education is looking for summer interns!
The Institute: The Gardner Institute a non-profit organization dedicated to partnering with colleges, universities, philanthropic organizations, educators, and other entities to increase institutional responsibility for improving outcomes associated with teaching, learning, retention, and completion.
The Internship: They are seeking a Summer 2025 intern who is interested in working with postsecondary education data to conduct research to help the Gardner Institute improve its efforts to help more students earn their degrees. Interested candidates should be majoring in a social science, applied math/statistics, or computer science/technology discipline, and be interested in working with postsecondary educational data for assessment, analysis, or use in business intelligence.
Internship Topics Include: Social media and communications, data analysis and research, equity and social justice, improving the success of undergraduate students, leadership skills development, exploration of possible careers in higher education, and other areas of interest.
Details: Internships require a commitment of 10-15 hours per week and availability during business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is a stipend of $1,500 per semester for interns.
