The Lonon Foundation Is Looking for a Nonprofit Fundraising and Community Outreach Intern

The Lonon Foundation is a local nonprofit and Honors Engaged partner organization that provides psychosocial and emotional resources for children impacted by a parent’s or caregiver’s cancer diagnosis.

The Opportunity: They are looking for a college student with an interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, and community outreach to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field while making a meaningful contribution to their mission. As a Fundraising and Outreach Intern, you will assist with various tasks related to fundraising, donor engagement, and community outreach and advocacy.

Responsibilities Include: Research, community advocacy, donor communications, fundraising support, administrative tasks, and collaborative partnerships.

Details: This internship will take place during the spring semester, and be 5-7 hours per week. It’s largely remote, with occasional in-person meetings. It is unpaid and can count for college credit.

Qualifications: Strong written communication skills, detail-oriented, comfortable working in Google Workspace, genuine interest in nonprofit work and community impact, and an ability to work independently and collaboratively. Though not necessary, reliable transportation is recommended.
