Metanoia Freedom School is looking for students to serve as paid interns helping kids learn over the summer and promote community development in North Charleston!
Metanoia Freedom School: The Freedom School is a six-week long, high-energy summer camp-type environment that teaches students the love of reading and how they can make a difference in themselves, their families, their communities, their country, and their world. It is free, giving hard-working parents a safe and enriching child care option during the majority of the summer.
The Opportunity: Servant leader interns will deliver Reading Curriculum to a small class of no more than 10 students for six weeks during the summer. They will fuel and empower young minds with leadership, literacy, and the power of social change, social action, and social justice. Their mission is to awaken and nurture the potential in scholars aged 5 to 14.
