LTP Scholars Looking for Part-Time Instructors in Math, Science and Social Studies

LTP Scholars is looking for part time tutors to supplement our math, social studies and science programs, particularly in Algebra I & 2, precalculus and calculus, along with economics, government, and physics.

The Opportunity: Instructors at LTP Scholars are not tutors in the traditional sense, but rather work one-on-one and in small groups with students to both fill in content gaps and foster a love of learning and deeper understanding of the topic at hand.

The School: LTP Scholars is a unique school in Daniel Island that offers supplementary education to students dedicated to extracurricular pursuits. At LTP Scholars, we focus on creating an environment where students are able to thrive in their academics as well as in their passions.

Benefits: Students will have the ability to apply the teaching strategies they are learning in lectures in real time with feedback from a group of certified teachers. They will also have the opportunity to create their own lessons, and hone their teaching skills. Non-education majors can also use this opportunity to develop leadership, communication, and self-starting skills.

Great Fit For: Education (particularly those preparing for their student teaching semester) / STEM / History / PoliSci
