Goldwater Scholarship Applications are Now Open!

Applications for the Barry Goldwater Scholarship are open for submission!

The characteristics the Foundation seeks in a Goldwater Scholar include a strong commitment to a research career in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering; effective display of intellectual intensity in the sciences, mathematics, and engineering; and potential for a significant future contribution to research in the student’s chosen field.

The timeline for the application is as follows:

  • Pre-application: October 28th, 2022, 5 PM EST
  • Internal: November 28th, 2022, 5 PM EST
  • National: January 27, 2023, 11:59 PM EST
