Dr. Christine B. Kern’s lab in the Department of Regenerative Medicine and Cell Biology at MUSC is looking for students interested in working as Research Specialists.

This is a salaried position intended for individuals taking a gap year between their undergraduate education and medical school.

Selected applicants will perform generalized and specialized cell and molecular biology techniques, such as cloning, immunohistochemistry, PAGE electrophoresis, Western blots, as well as other duties.

Training from the PI will be provided if these techniques are new to the applicant. Analyze experimental results using appropriate software; help prepare experimental results for presentation and publication.
