Best-selling author and columnist Carl Zimmer will be in Charleston to promote his latest book, Life’s Edge: The Search for What it Means to be Alive, as part of the 2021 Charleston Literary Festival.
The public talk with Mr. Zimmer will be moderated by Honors College Dean Dr. Meyer-Bernstein. Mr. Zimmer has agreed to meet with a group of students following the event. To that end, we’re creating a creating a book club!
Members of the book club will…
- Receive a free hardback copy of the book (with the understanding that you’ll read it prior to the talk)
- Get to attend Mr. Zimmer’s public talk on Friday, November 5, 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Sottile Theatre free of charge
- Meet as a group with Mr. Zimmer for a private conversation inside Randolph Hall from 5:15-6:00 p.m.
