Position Description: Under the supervision of the VP, Marketing & Member Relations, the Marketing Coordinator coordinates certain marketing department activities and supports certain other marketing department activities by providing project or event planning, coordination and evaluation and data analysis and reporting regarding various marketing programs. Incumbent shall provide additional administrative support functions as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coordinates the WindWorks Renewable Energy Program.
- Prepares reports that track participation and sales data.
- Prepares and sends invoices to participating members.
- Manages related documents and advertising.
- Assists in the planning of events, conferences and special meetings including event registration and attendance, invoicing, record keeping and reporting.
- Coordinates the marketing intern program. Completes job requisition. Participates in applicant review, interviews and applicant selection. Coordinates the intern’s day-to-day work schedule.
- Provides administrative support for various marketing programs including but not limited to: marketing data input, document management, record keeping, report generation, cost tracking, invoicing, advertising, budget review, analysis and interpretation of effectiveness and marketing results, and recommendations for future program changes.
- Current programs for which such analysis and reporting is required include the energy efficiency rebate program, energy management services, and competitive rates analysis.
- Participates in preparation of departmental reports, budget preparation, budget tracking and project management.
- Schedules and coordinates tours of WFEC facilities.
- Manages the WFEC logo merchandise including ordering, receiving, stocking, selling, tracking inventory charged internally and monthly reporting to Financial Services.
- Conducts internet research as required by marketing staff related to development of business portfolios of customers or prospective customers.
- Develops a competitive knowledge base and other needs.
- Provides administrative support to the VP, Marketing and Member Relations as needed.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors required of this position.
- Education and Experience: Associate’s degree in a business-related field and two (2) years of experience related to marketing or event planning. Directly related experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two (2) years of experience for one (1) year of education. This job requires excellent people skills and a customer service mindset.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodical, journals and government publications. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, customers and employees.
- Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute ratios and percentages, and to interpret information in graphic form.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where some standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form.
- Computer Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office software, including Word, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Access. A working knowledge of website management software is also desirable. Use of an enterprise software system such as PeopleSoft will be necessary to perform these functions.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: This position requires a current driver’s license.
Work Schedule Requirements: This position works a normal weekday schedule, but may be required to work extra hours, travel overnight and travel on short notice.
