Position Description: Assists the Assistant Athletic Director, Brand Advancement & Fan Engagement with marketing and promotion of the University of South Alabama athletics programs; increases attendance, ticket sales and public awareness of assigned South Alabama athletics teams; creates and implements marketing plans for assigned sports; oversees athletics social media accounts and adheres to brand guidelines; improves fan experience and in-game atmosphere at assigned sports; hires, trains, schedules, and supervises student assistants; assists with special events; serves as liaison with campus and student groups; adheres to NCAA, Sun Belt Conference and University rules and regulations; attends various events which will require working nights and weekends; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required; related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama, working knowledge of Adobe software to include Photoshop and possession of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage under the University of South Alabama.
Preferred Qualifications: Related experience in an athletic program is highly preferred.
