Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled Conference & Events Manager to oversee and organize events that will make an impact to our target audiences. You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. You will also help to streamline our conference processes using fresh ideas and organizational skills, leveraging resources across teams to ensure transparency, and clear logistical coordination.
Tallo participates in 50+ local, regional, and national conferences each year for which you would provide coordination through the entire planning process, from researching conferences and managing equipment needs to organizing travel plans and evaluating outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Develops, plans and coordinates the company’s presence and participation in local, regional, and national events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
- Coordinates all aspects of conference events and serves as the main point of contact for internal staff, including staff training and supervising staff at events
- Maintains master conference calendar, multiple databases and inventories for equipment, collateral, and resources
- Develops meeting budget and controls expenses within each event budget, manages invoicing and reporting
- Streamlines the Tallo booth experience across audiences and collaborates with our Marketing team to develop audience engagement strategies for each event, ensuring consistency of our company’s visual brand
- Works closely with leadership and representatives from each internal team to develop and implement procedures related to conference management
- Researches and reviews new and proposed conferences to attend, develops process improvements based on emerging trends to enhance event planning
- Ensures event is completed smoothly and steps up to creatively resolve any problems that might occur
- Analyzes the event’s success based on booth visitors, leads, and other data; prepares reports for leadership, teams and event staff
- Covers external events and conferences on evenings and weekends when necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education: BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or a related field is preferred
