Seeking a content specialist/blog writer
The Content Specialist position requires solid written communication skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and processes simultaneously. Possessing a strong attention to detail, the ideal candidate helps to develop a variety of stories for online publication. Position requires a candidate accomplished in AP style and competent in crafting messages in simple, active voice that meet readability standards for target audience. The specialist would also write blogs on a list of topics I have such as: Top 5 Downtown Charleston Art Galleries, How To’s and such. It would be 2-3 blog posts a week with pay per blog posts. I’d love your ideas on subjects to write about in relation to art in Charleston!
Job Functions
The Content Specialist performs the following essential functions:
- Content development for marketing communications including website, social media, email, direct mail, marketing collateral, press releases, etc.
- Manages content calendar for web postings, promotional posting, and social (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, Twitter and others as identified).
- Proofreads all marketing materials, website content, and publications for accuracy, branding, and compliance.
- Provides research as needed for use in market studies, project needs, and marketing and advertising publications.
- Performs other writing duties as assigned

I live and work out of Charleston, SC but since its blog posts applicants can work remote – so it would be a super easy job to add on to your class schedule.
