Position Description: The first level of full management authority for a subfunction, department or single function of communications where serving as the communication consultant and manager of strategic communication programs, processes, programs and duties for assigned hospitals and the Region are the primary duties. Develops, facilitates and implements the hospital’s and Region’s internal communication strategy and plan in consultation with their leadership teams, physicians and employees and Marketing and Communication leadership. Oversees all related Internal Communications activity in concert with the Director Regional/Platform communication and Corporate Communication leadership using and creating diverse channels and content to engage employees and physicians at all levels across the Region. Serves as liaison between hospitals and regional leaders to Marketing and Communication and manages cross functional teams to design and implement strategic communication programs. May have some external and systemwide communication duties as assigned. Areas of expertise include strategic communication planning and measurement, project management, relationship building, creating engaging content for all channels and audiences, collaborating and achieving results with leaders, employees, physicians at all levels.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field -Required
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience in communication, preferably strategic internal communication – Required. Experience in healthcare a plus
