Le Creuset: Seeking Human Resources Intern

Dates:  Fall 2019 semester

Position Description:  (This is a paid internship.)  As a Le Creuset Human Resources (HR) Intern, you will be a hands-on representative of the HR Department whose main focus is to help facilitate all basic HR functions. You provide support to the HR Department by compiling and maintaining personnel records, benefit data and other personnel related information. You also help support recruitment activities.

Tasks:

HR Administration and Compliance
    • Maintain accuracy of our HRIS system through uploading of various documents, including job descriptions, training materials, etc.
    • Collect and update our internal databases with employee information, including contact details and employment forms
    • Support the recruitment process through the posting/managing of jobs, coordinating candidate interviews and testing, supporting the development of content for training, as well as organizing company career days/job fairs
    • Update various employee programs such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Teamwork
    • Prioritize activities for the best interest of the team when working on joint projects
    • Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects
    • Supports special projects for HR initiatives and assists team with HR needs and requests to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
    • Assist HR team with typing, filing, photocopying, collecting and compiling data, telephone inquiries, special projects, etc.

Looking For: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of college in human resources or related field
  • Familiar with HRIS/ATS systems and resume database
  • Proficient In Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Capability to self-start projects and leverage proactive communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
