Compensation: $11 per hour
Position Description: (This is a paid internship.) The Law Office of Seth A. Levy, LLC, is seeking an energetic student intern to assist our firm with marketing. We are looking for someone who is a creative self-starter and can work independently, with guidance from our staff. Knowledge of social media (Facebook) and the analytics behind it are a must. Enhancing our website design and user experience (using WordPress) will be a critical role for this intern. Additionally, we are wanting to create new traditional marketing materials such as flyers to promote our services to potential clients. This position is part-time, and we estimate approximately 20 hours per week, although projects may be modified (subtracted from or added to) based on the intern’s interests and strengths. Although there is ample space for in-office work, the Law Firm allows remote work so long as agreed-upon deliverable deadlines are met.
Responsibilities:
- Support marketing campaign planning and execution.
- Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
- Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels.
- Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions.
- Assist in the management of the website (WordPress).
- Measure and report the results of digital marketing initiatives.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Applied understanding of basic marketing principles.
- Knowledge of Facebook marketing and the ability to create original content for Facebook.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills.
- Prefer student in junior or senior year of college.
