With Who: Kiawah Conservancy
Location: Kiawah Island, SC
Dates: Spring/Summer 2020
Compensation: Paid at $15 per hour.
Hours: 15-20 hours per week. Typical office hours are between 8 AM and 5 PM, but may include some nights and weekends.
Supervisor: The intern will be mentored and supervised by the Communications and Education Coordinator.
Duties and Tasks: (This is a paid internship.) The intern will assist the Communications and Education Coordinator with the following tasks:
- Research, plan, and implement creative online content campaigns
- Research content marketing opportunities
- Conduct community outreach programs
- Promote creative content on social media
- Analyze data to identify trends and insights for digital content and projects
- Draft copy for website, print, and social media
Qualifications: Applicants should be pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field. Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic semester.
