Internships at King Street Hospitality Group

King Street Hospitality Group consists of Midtown, Upstairs at Midtown (our private event venue), Maybank Catering, King Street Beverage Company, Trio, and two new event venues opening in the upcoming year.
We are looking for one or two interns that are interested in the private event industry. Our events range from Weddings and rehearsal dinners to corporate functions from Boeing to Benefit Focus. Unlike many private venues in Charleston we are a full service company and coordinate the catering, bar, rentals, etc.
The potential candidate needs to be a self starter who is outgoing and a problem solver, who will eventually take over their own events from the beginning planning process to execution. This internship will have some week day office hours but most of their hours will be in the evenings and on weekends, potentially 20 hours a week.
Flexible start date between end of July and beginning of August.
