Brodeur Partners has an opening for paid Communications Interns in its New York City office. Brodeur’s internship program draws top talent from universities and colleges around the country, and we are currently accepting resumes for the Summer 2015 internship program. Brodeur’s paid internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to learn public relations and communications first-hand. Interns work with our highly-skilled account teams and gain skills from the best in the business. Interns are exposed to a variety of tasks in the following areas: traditional and social media, blogger and analyst relations; client, competitor and new business research; coverage and client reporting; content creation; and other communications activities. Brodeur works with interns to determine if the program can be used for school credit. Candidates must be in their junior or senior year at a college or university majoring in communications, public relations, journalism or a related major; or, recent graduates who have received a Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field. They also must:
– Have an understanding of social media including Twitter, Facebook, etc.;
– Be proficient on the Microsoft Office suite of software;
– Be able to organize multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities; and
– Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
