Product Marketing Internship with Olympus Corporation of Americas (Brooklyn Park, MN)

The successful candidate will join a new product development team, reporting to the Upstream Marketing Product Manager, and will have responsibilities specific to VOC collection and analysis, and to global product launch planning.
Job Duties:
- Participate in weekly project core team meetings
- Support activities with Healthcare Professionals to validate performance attributes of device concepts
- Compile & analyze hospital buying data for insights on overall market size and dynamics, and specific competitive device performance
- Interface with Upstream & Downstream Marketing partners to define product launch package and promotional materials; develop project timeline for successful completion of launch package
- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful communication of information and completion of activities
- Participate as a full member of the Surgical Energy Product Marketing team inclusive of bi-weekly team meetings, informal brainstorming discussions, and on-site meetings with MBC/SBC partners
Required Qualifications (Only qualified candidates will be considered):
- Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university, and completed sophomore year status of a bachelor’s degree
- Declared Marketing or Business Administration or related major
- Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
- Proficient and practical knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication toolbox: non-verbal communication, active listening, writing, presenting, and day-to-day interactions
- Able to be effective in a team environment i.e. working cross-functionally, communicating transparently, fulfilling deliverables per project calendar requirements
- Strong grasp of Marketing fundamentals e.g. market research/Voice of Customer, market segmentation, product positioning, competitive analysis
- Exhibit a passion for Medical Device Product Marketing
