Communications Internship with SC Public Charter School District (Charleston)
The South Carolina Public Charter School District (SCPCSD) has one mission: to bring high quality, excellent education to the state through the creation and implementation of innovative & results-driven charter schools. We do this by working together as fierce education advocates who are fired up about kids and changing the landscape of education in South Carolina.
The SCPCSD is looking for a Communications Intern who will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist in planning, writing and managing monthly newsletters.
- Draft, distribute and pitch news releases, media alerts and other stories.
- Designing flyers, graphics, e-vites and other marketing material for events.
- Update the website and social media channels.
Experience:
- Twitter, Facebook Ads, and Instagram ads a must.
- Writing press releases and other media related documents.
- Understanding marketing analytics required.
- Creativity!
The internship would be 10 hours per week and the intern would report to the Director of Communications.
