Communications Intern

This internship is a great fit for someone looking to gain in depth experience working at the intersection of communications, technology, HIV, and policy.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Excellent writer
- Well versed in digital and online technology (e.g. social media, blogs, etc.)
- Strong interest in HIV and viral hepatitis work
- Passionate about working with disproportionately impacted communities such as Black SGL/gay and bisexual men
The intern will work on a range of communications projects including supporting the redesign our website, assessing how health departments are using technologies such as text messaging and apps like Grindr for public health interventions, and marketing for a new technical assistance center for Black SGL/gay and bisexual men.
Salary: $15/hr
Time Commitment: We’re looking for someone who can commit at least 4-5 months or one semester.
