Social Media Marketing Intern

About the position:
The Social Media Marketing Intern will be an integral part of Marketing and Communications Department in the Office of Admissions. They will develop skills needed to interpret social media analytics, curate purposeful social media messaging, and execute successful strategic communication campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Obtaining social media research
- Assisting in execution of admissions events- such as TGIF and Accepted Students Weekend
- Assist in production maintenance of social media calendar
- Collaborate on social media messaging
- Conduct social media monitoring
- Remain affluent on social media trends
- Act as photographer for social media pages
- Contribute to team brainstorming sessions
- Attend weekly virtual meetings

- Tested ability to work autonomously
- Must be a Sophomore or above

- Communication, Marketing, or Advertising major and/or minor
- Experience in photography
- An eye for aesthetics

- Passion for social media marketing and/or analogous professional spheres
The position starts next semester and ends with the commencement of spring semester. However there is potential to continue the opportunity into the summer depending on performance during the spring semester.
