Position Summary: Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company is hiring an experienced Director of Marketing and Public Relations. This position is responsible for overall brand management and customer relationship management across various channels via advertising, communications and community relations. The ideal candidate is community-focused with previous experience in marketing and public relations for a community bank. Candidates must possess a high-level of personal accountability, strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Duties:
- Develop and manage annual marketing budget.
- Create original written and digital content to support bank departments and drive customer engagement. Execute marketing/advertising efforts specific to departments, branches and company-wide.
- Maintain positive media relations; develop and adhere to annual advertising contracts.
- Develop and oversee social media presence and digital brand awareness strategy.
- Develop and manage overall website content and functionality.
- Responsible for ongoing/routine updates to advertisements and content, search engine optimization, responsive design, statistical tracking.
- Utilize data analytics to research consumer behaviors, explore market trends, and identify sales opportunities using existing customer data and data analytics tools, including the bank’s existing CRM system.
- Organize and lead special events.

Qualifications:
- Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related area
- A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience with a preference for experience in banking
- Experience in digital marketing and data analytics strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required
- Proficient in PC usage and standard office applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
