Job Description: Benefit Administrator/Applications Consultant
- Communicate daily with clients that are utilizing an online benefits enrollment application
- Provide assistance with benefits explanations for multiple clients, (prior medical insurance/medicaid/medicare experience strongly preferred)
- Provide continuous support to clients
- Manage client relationships with HR Administrators that support up to two thousand employees
- Assist clients by phone and email to help them understand regular updates made to applications
- Report software issues to the Engineering team as they arise
- Provide an accurate timeframe for issue resolution to clients daily
- Prioritize tasks and keep a continuous relationship with insurance carriers, clients and internal resources
- Respond to email requests from clients regarding employee coverage, policy cancellations and policy renewals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Candidates must value working as part of a team and providing ongoing anticipatory service
- Candidates must be able to manage and prioritize multiple clients’ needs simultaneously
- Strong problem solving and follow-up skills
- Proficient in MS office applications — Excel, Word, etc.
- Able to thrive in a fast paced and innovative work environment
- Call center experience is preferred but not required
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, 8:30am – 5:30pm, 9:00am – 6:00pm, 10am-7pm, 11:00am – 8:00pm OR 12pm-9pm (candidates need to be flexible)
