Position Description: (This is a paid internship.) Apis Mercantile, a honey and body care company based in James Island, is looking for a passionate and motivated student for a one of a kind internship program. We are a small company so we just ask that you respect our time and work to the best of your ability!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule posts on all social media platforms
- Research social media and marketing analytics
- Collaborate with team members on relevant projects and tasks
- Create visual content libraries (i.e images, animated gifs, etc.) that support the brand
- Brainstorm ideas for an enhanced presence
- Lead generation and input into a CRM system
- Write newsletters and send email blasts to customers
- Help at events for hands on sales experience

Knowledge and Abilities:

Experience with social media

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of social media advertising and platform analytics tools

Experience with scheduling software

Willingness to learn new skills

Organized with excellent attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Resourceful self-starter who takes initiative in projects and goes the extra mile!

*Experience filming or editing video is a plus
Qualifications:

Must be a rising senior

Interns must be able to commit to a schedule of 10-20 hours/week
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting pay of $9.00 an hour, plus college credit. Please check with your academic department to see if this is eligible for credit.
