Assoc. of Clinical Research Professionals: Seeks Specialist, Marketing & Communications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing Team and other internal stakeholders to execute marketing communications, including but not limited to email, social media, digital and print advertising.
    • Specifically, this role is responsible for supporting the Marketing Team by:
      • Working with Marketing Managers to build, test, and deploy marketing emails in support of association programs and services, including but not limited to Chapters, Membership, Certification, Meetings & Events, Training, and ACRP’s weekly newsletter, CRbeat.
      • Working with Marketing Mangers to deploy paid social advertising campaigns via Facebook and LinkedIn.
      • Working with Marketing Managers to deploy organic social media posts using Sprout Social and other platforms, as necessary.
      • Making ongoing website updates and refinements based on direction from Marketing Managers.
    • Provide administrative support to Marketing Team in support of programs promoting ACRP products and services, including but not limited to Membership, Certification, Meetings & Events, Training, and Business Services.
    • Gather and report weekly metrics to support performance management and inform decision-making.
    • Other responsibilities as defined by Director, Marketing & Communications.

Cross-Functional Team Responsibilities:

  • Contribute ideas and work collaboratively with all ACRP staff, volunteer leaders, partner organizations, and vendors to achieve the organizational mission, successfully execute the strategic plan, and continuously improve the value of ACRP.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills, including editing and writing, and direct experience executing editorial content-based marketing tactics.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to make effective, independent decisions in meeting deadlines and goals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator), social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram), web-based applications, and email delivery platforms.
  • Proficiency with social media advertising platforms (LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Facebook Business Manager) a plus.
  • High level of creativity and initiative.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new software products and web-based applications.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to be effective in a multi-disciplinary team-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direct supervision.
