This individual will help conduct brand + market research, assist with ticket launch at the end of August, and help manage phone, web, and on-site ticket sales using our ticketing software. Guest Experience Intern
Reports To: Guest Experience Coordinator
Classification: Internship
Dates: July 15 – December 13, 2019, with the potential opportunity for an extension following the holidays
OVERVIEW
The Guest Experience Intern will work closely with the Guest Experience Coordinator to gain a full understanding of the Charleston Wine + Food guest lifecycle. This individual will support the team in launching tickets for the 15th festival anniversary, conduct brand + market research, and learn the ins + outs of developing a best-in-class festival. The ideal candidate is a quick problem solver, strong leader, organized, and enthusiastic.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Conduct brand + market research and develop case studies on trends that will help elevate Charleston Wine + Food
- Work with ticketing department to maintain positive guest relations
- Develop an extensive knowledge of festival events + scheduling in order to make powerful selling suggestions to guests
- Support ticket launch preparation, including but not limited to updating spreadsheets and website proofing
- Help manage phone + website ticket sales
- Utilize ticketing software to process orders, manage guest lists, and run reports
- Operations support as needed

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Be available on ticket launch day
- In the weeks leading up to ticket launch, this position requires approximately 10-15 hours/week at the Charleston Wine + Food office
- Use of personal computer
