Charleston Gallery Association Short-Term Internship
On September 16, the Charleston Gallery Association (CGA) hosts its annual Summer Wine Bouquet at the historic Mills House hotel in Charleston.
With over 250 attendees, the event includes curated summer wine tastings, 20+ exhibiting fine art galleries, live painting demonstrations, hors d’oeuvres, and live jazz music.
The CGA is looking for short-term interns to help with the event. Volunteers will help with the setup and takedown of the artwork, floral arrangements, and other event materials; registration; and other tasks before/during/and after the event; as well as potentially assisting galleries with sales and client management.
This internship is unpaid but is a great opportunity for students and young professionals interested in both events management and arts management, with immediate access to gallery owners and directors, as well as wine vendors and PR professionals.
