Responsibilities:
The peer-to-peer team member will assist in the overall sales plan for meal plans and declining balance by actively engaging parents and students during the College’s orientation process as well as other sales and research opportunities as they arise throughout the semester. Reports to Marketing Manager, with daily responsibilities to include:
– Helps achieve meal plan sales goals throughout the school orientation and move-in-process via tabling, dining events, and supporting the business office.
– Acts as a Dining Ambassador by communicating details of meal plans, declining balance accounts, advantages for eating on campus, payment options, and general information about Dining Services. Interact with parents, families and incoming students.
– Provides continuous support of dining activities by participation in dining events, meal plan / declining balance campaigns, secret shops, intercept survey and DiningStyles data collection and solici ting student feedback.
Qualifications: Strong Communication Skills, Sales, Effective Collaboration, Enthusiasm
Pay: $8.00-$8.50
Days-per-week: Position is from Aug. 4- Aug. 29 *with possibilities for special event hours during the fall semester *also possibilities for returning for spring semester. Dates: January 5 – January 30. (tentatively)
