This position provides the right candidate a unique opportunity to flex their social media prowess and written communication skills. This position will contribute to the development and rollout of a new Social Media strategy for the Inspire Brands Foundation, along with day-to-day community management, content creation and metrics reporting. Additionally, this role will aid in the development and trafficking of key internal and external communications.

Education Qualifications

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree required in related field (marketing, advertising,

communications, journalism, business, sociology)

Experience Qualification

  • 1-3 years of PR/communications, marketing and/or social media experience,

preferably with agency background

  • Solid understanding of the social media landscape, content creation and

metrics tracking, along with a can-do attitude and keen desire to learn

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Foundation’s social presence, including oversight of content calendars, publishing schedule, community management and reporting:
  • Monitor social platforms and campaigns for community reception, engagement and optimization and produce platform reports and content insights
  • Think out of the box and make recommendations for compelling social media content that will help increase awareness and reputation
  • Actively participate in and contribute to brainstorming sessions with internal team and external agency partners regarding social content ideas
  • Conduct research and compile POVs on social issues, trends and topics, as needed
  • Own the development of internal and external communications (emails, invitations, event recaps, surveys, newsletters, etc.) in coordination with internal team members and stakeholders

Required Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities

  • Understanding of how business, brands and customers interact, with a knowledge of the role that social media and technology plays in this relationship
  • Demonstrated experience with social technology (i.e., including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram).
  • Experience using online monitoring/publishing platforms including, but not limited to: Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Cisionpoint, Crimson Hexagon, Sysomos, Sprinklr
  • Strong writer and communicator, equally comfortable advocating as listening
  • Approaches challenges/roadblocks with a solutions-minded attitude
  • Curious, dependable, enthusiastic & highly organized

Preferred Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities

  • Understanding of influencer marketing and/or paid media
  • Good eye for creative design and curiosity about what’s next
  • Experience working with or leveraging Google Ads
