SUMMARY:  Levelwing is seeking highly motivated individuals to produce and measure the performance of marketing copy. Developed content should demonstrate creativity while attracting and retaining the targeted brand audiences. The Copywriter role requires a high level of innovation and an impeccable attention to detail.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation

  • Write, edit, and publish engaging content for various brands across social networks
  • Create content across multiple social platforms, emails, native ads, display ads and other relevant marketing executions
  • Develop engaging content to support brand goals and further brand identity and conversion goals
  • Understand best practices and trends in social media marketing on all platforms
  • Manage multiple social platforms of our brands as well as post approved content on their behalf
  • When applicable, conduct social listening & engage in conversation to help consumers, mitigate potential issues and build brand equity
  • Optimize copy (language, tone, message) per platform, ad format, and audience based on goals
  • Continuously study social marketing, inclusive of platforms used and case studies on successful campaign executions
  • Write and deploy email messaging, testing on A / B groups, inclusive of subject line testing and ancillary campaign recipients
  • Continuously study email marketing, inclusive of platforms used and case studies on successful campaign executions
  • Help measure campaign performance, draw insights, and use gained knowledge to inform future content creation
  • Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary marketing team including designers, analysts, managers, and directors to design and implement strategies

Website Content Creation

  • Write concise, relevant copy on behalf of brands for their website
  • Collaborate with SEO team on keyword-specific goals for individual pages
  • Continuously study current and future best practices for writing for the web, including researching case studies and content-driven UX best practices

Grammatical Editing

  • Occasionally serve as a resource when necessary to proof documents for team for both internal and external presentations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to manage multiple content projects while not compromising creative quality
  • Excellent communicator with emphasis on clear communication when recommending copy
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Write clear, persuasive, original copy while meeting quick deadlines
  • Understand how words and images work together to tell a story
  • Use data to inform all decisions
  • Understand constant familiarity with clients’ value proposition, products & services, target audience, brand guidelines, and opposition content
