I always find it fascinating to learn the history of wineries and who they previously belonged to. There is such a long history behind the land and what has been grown there as well as the history behind how long grapes have been there and the blends created.
Sparkling wine has come a long way throughout history and is seen in almost every place that sells alcoholic beverages. I think that there is a special something that these wines have that others don’t like the ability to get people so excited and ready to celebrate something. It is also, for me, a good palate cleanser and very refreshing. I think Dr. Cohens comment about the bubbles in the nose is accurate and definitely had a correlation to this.
