Drs. Weyers and Del Mastro Participate in the 96th AATSP Conference in Panama City, Panama

At the 96th Conference of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) in Panama City, Panama from July 8-11, 2014, Dr. Joseph Weyers  presented his study “‘Noticing’ discourse: Increasing our intermediate and advanced students’ oral proficiency”; Dr. Mark P. Del Mastro organized and directed  the 2nd  annual “Sigma Delta Pi Best Practices” session that featured student presenters from four different chapters from across the U.S.  Professor  Del Mastro also presented a guest report for Sigma Delta Pi during  the AATSP Executive Council meeting, he hosted the Sigma Delta Pi reception, and he presented the 4th annual Mario Vargas Llosa Award during the AATSP Awards Banquet.
