Dr. Sarah Owens Participates in Gemela Conference

Professor Sarah Owens presented her study “Race and Class in the Travel Writing of Sor Ana de Cristo (1565-1634)” at the Gemela Conference at Portland State University on September 13-15.  Dr. Owens also particpated in the conference’s roundtable session entitled “Female Convent Writing and its Interdisciplinary Potential: The Case of Sister Margaret of the Mother of God and Her Diary (1635-1637).”
