Spoleto Festival USA and Piccolo Spoleto Festival will present two exciting weeks of art, culture and community celebrations.  The College of Charleston School of the Arts is proud to present festival events:

The Department of Theatre presents its Stelle di Domani (“stars of tomorrow”) series, boasting six events, as part of Piccolo Spoleto Festival. Performances take place at various times, dates and venues.  View the list of productions.

The Department of Music presents its Young Artists Series at the College of Charleston, as part of Piccolo Spoleto Festival.  All performances take place at 12 noon on the College’s campus.  View the list of concerts.

Piccolo Spoleto’s Early Music Series is produced by Music Department Chair, Steve Rosenberg, and most performances feature faculty, students and alumni. View the list of concerts.

The College of Charleston Concert Choir will perform for Piccolo Spoleto’s Festival of Churches series.

The Taylor Festival Choir, in residence at the College, will perform for Piccolo Spoleto’s Mepkin Abbey concert series.

The Franklin Ashley Quintet will perform for the Piccolo Spoleto Harbor Cruise. Dr. Ashley is a Professor Emeritus of Theatre.

Part of the Piccolo Spoleto’s Pipe Organ Recital series, a concert by Music Professor William Gudger joined by soprano Suzanne Fleming-Atwood and baritone Scott Atwood, will take place.

Tacy Edwards, Adjunct Flute Professor, will join classical guitarist Christopher Teves for a concert in Piccolo Spoleto’s Remington Concert series.

The Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art is presenting the Piccolo Spoleto exhibition: Eames Demetrios – Kcymaerxthaere & Paolo Ventura – Winter Stories, May 27 – July 15.

The City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs, Charleston magazine and the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art present Contemporary Charleston 2011: Under the Radar – A Piccolo Spoleto Festival Exhibit.
