Sports + Theatre?  Yes!  Jermaine-Johnson

Former College of Charleston standout forward Jermaine Johnson was drafted by the Reno Bighorns in the sixth round of the 2009 NBA Development League Draft.  Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communication and a minor in Theatre.  He played for the College from 2004-09 and finished his career with 1,276 points, which ranks 13th on the College’s all-time list.  He’s one of only four players in the College’s history to score at least 1,100 points and grab 850 rebounds.  Johnson earned third team All-Southern Conference honors last season and was the league’s Freshman of the Year in 2005-06. He has the distinction of scoring the Cougars’ first point in the new Carolina First Arena.
