SGA Mourns Tragedy at Virginia Tech
To My Fellow Students,
Monday, April 16, will forever be remembered for the tragedy that struck the Virginia Tech campus. As students, we have a sense of solidarity with Virginia Tech. When we go to class every morning, we all have the same goals and aspirations that come with being a college student. Those dreams and goals were stolen that Monday, and today we mourn for those losses. From one student body to the next, we extend our deepest sympathies and condolences for those who were hurt that day. I invite you all to join us on Monday, April 23 at 1:00 on the Cistern Yard to mourn the loss of those at Virginia Tech. We stand by our fellow university of higher education and the students, faculty, and staff who make it such a valuable institution.
“Today, we are all hokies.”
-President Jacqui Barry
