Election Packets Available
The Student Government Association and the Election Commission is proud to announce the start of Fall 2008 Elections. The SGA is currently looking for 12 Freshman Senators, two Junior Senators, and two Senior Senators. To start the process simply download an Election Packet available at the end of this article, or you may pick one up at the Stern Center Information Desk or in the SGA Office, Stern 401. All Elections Packets must be returned to the SGA Office by 6:00pm on Monday, September 1st.
Mandatory Informational Meetings for students interested in campaigning to be a Senator will be during the week of August 27. Those meetings are as follows:
Wednesday, August 27th @ 12pm
Thursday, August 28th @ 3:30pm
Friday, August 29th @ 1pm
Monday, September 1st @ 4pm
All meetings will be held in the lobby outside the SGA Office on the 4th floor of Stern.

Please note that campaigning may NOT begin until 12:01am on Wednesday September 3, 2008. It is the responsibility of every candidate to read the Elections By-Laws and understand the consequences of a failure to follow them.
