Charleston School of Business Continuing and Professional Education division recently secured a spot among the top 10 enrollments for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Essentials of HR courses last year. The college came in at number 10.

“We are very proud of this accomplishment,” said Michelle Futrell, executive director of continuing and professional education at the College of Charleston School of Business. “We’re committed to helping the business community achieve their professional development goals. We appreciate our partnership with SHRM and the expertise of our instructor, Karen Clark. We look forward to expanding our offerings in this space.”

In a field with more than 270 education partners delivering the SHRM Essentials course annually, attaining a place in the top 10 in the nation is a testament to the program’s success. This recognition puts the business school in good company with colleges like the University of Texas at Austin, Rice University, University of Central Florida and Northwestern University.

The next SHRM Essentials of HR courses occur in the summer. Sign up for our mailing list to be notified when registration opens.
